Activating and deactivating the CanPay Merchant Gift Card Program can be done by logging in with the Corporate Admin credentials at merchant.canpaydebit.com.
Once logged in, look for the "Gift Card Settings" menu item on the left side and click it.
Next, tap the Enable Store Gift Card Issuing option to Activate/Deactivate the Merchant Gift Card program for your stores.
When enabling Gift Cards, you'll see new settings become available (employee setup) and additional menu items: Issue Gift Card and Gift Card Reports.
Note about deactivating the Merchant Gift Card program: While no new gift cards can be issued while the program is deactivated, previously issued gift cards will remain active and redeemable.
Once Gift Cards are activated, you can enable Gift Card Issuing Access for any individual employees/groups of employees that have access to the CanPay Merchant Reporting Suite.
